In the midst of trying to finish the season as strongly as possible, it almost went unnoticed that the little Argentine racked up his 100th goal for the club against Manchester United in the 4-2 defeat.
The last player to score 100 goals for City was Shaun Goater over 12 years ago, which is a true testament to Aguero’s efforts over the last few seasons.
He has a better goals to minutes ratio than anyone in
Premier League history (of players who have scored over 50 goals), bettering
that of Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer.
I've mentioned in other posts that this guy needs to end his career in Manchester if we have any chance of becoming a European force. Despite not having the luxury of seeing players like Georgi Kindkladze or Colin Bell in their prime, I think this guy is the best player we've ever had, and I'm sure not many can disagree once they watch this video and remember some of these goals.
Here is the best clip of his goals since he arrived in Manchester.
