Chelsea FC has today confirmed that Radamel Falcao will be joining the club on a season long loan with the option for a permanent stay. Jose Mourinho has been outspoken on his belief that he can bring out Falcao’s best form and the whole world will now get a chance to see if he can prove it.
Falcao struggled through his last season at Manchester United after suffering a cruciate ligament injury in January of 2014. The Columbian only managed to score four goals in 26 Premier League appearances.
Falcao will meet up with former Atletico Madrid teammates Thibaut Courtois, Diego Costa and Filipe Luis at the Blues.
Chelsea have also allowed for their young Croatian midfielder, Mario Pasalic to move in the opposite direction to Falcao and go on a season-long loan to Monaco.
