Chelsea’s stuttering season has hit yet another hurdle after a 2-1 defeat away to Porto in the Champions League.
Andre Andre opened the scoring after hitting home from a save by Begovic late in the first half. However, the sides would go into the break level after Willian’s superb free kick found the back of the net to end the half.
The game was played at a fast pace and Maicon’s 52nd minute header, proved to be the decider. The Porto man beat his man off a corner to nod home the winner past 3 onlooking Chelsea defenders.
This leaves Chelsea in 3rd in group G, a point behind Porto and Dynamo Kiev.
