Chelsea has drawn with Dynamo Kyiv 0-0 in the Champions League. The draw sees Chelsea sit in third place in group G with 4 points, behind Porto and Dynamo Kiev with 7 and 5 points respectively.
This group will be extremely tight heading into the 3 reverse fixtures. Chelsea will be hoping to turn their stutter start around to top the group and move onto the next stage of the competition.
In a game that Chelsea dominated, the Blues appeared to be in complete control besides a couple of counter attacks.
The Blues struck the post twice, once in the first half through an excellent move by Eden Hazard and once in the second half through a Willian free kick.
Eden Hazard appeared to relish the opportunity to get off the bench and once again show his class. Hazard was a standout performer for the Blues.
Another positive for Chelsea is the fact that they managed to hold a clean sheet, something that has been rare for the side during this season.
Much of the post-game news focussed around Mourinho’s fine, showing that Chelsea is clearly not focused.
