Chelsea have moved to the top of Group G in the Champion’s League after a thumping 4-0 victory over Tel Aviv.
Chelsea now sit on 10 points, the same as Porto, with one game to go. Dynamo Kiev is just 2 points behind, thus meaning that the final day will be needed to see who will get out of the group.
Chelsea will face Porto at home in their final group game and the Blues only need a point to advance from the group.
The game started promisingly with Gary Cahill following up his own header to finish from close range.
Things went from bad to worse for Tel Aviv with former Chelsea man, Tal Ben Haim being sent off for a challenge on Diego Costa.
Willian stepped up for another free-kick and whipped it over the wall and into the back of the net in spectacular fashion.
The game was wrapped up by headers to Oscar and then to Kurt Zouma to ensure the 3 points would be Chelsea’s.
This result appears to be at a point where Chelsea is finally beginning to hit its stride and turn their fortune around.
Many Blues fans will be hoping for similar results in the future.
