With Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck ruled out for nine months following knee surgery, Alli will need to shoulder even more of the attacking impetus for Roy Hodgson's side, a responsibility Beckham believes the PFA Young Player of the Year award winner can handle.
"I like Dele Alli because he plays with no fear," Beckham said, according to Sky Sports. "He is a young and confident player who is not afraid to show how good he is on the field. Every fan, every England fan, every Tottenham fan, wants to see him step onto the field and do well at Euro 2016."
Beckham also had some words of advice for the 20-year-old attacking midfielder, having himself participated in Euro 2000 and Euro 2004 with the Three Lions, as well as the 1998, 2002, and 2006 FIFA World Cups.
"Go out there and enjoy it, because these occasions don't come around that often," Beckham said. "When you have a chance to play for your country and a chance to play in a big competition, you have got to enjoy the moment and just go out for the win."
